Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is hiring a Night Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas. The role includes janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, and following safety protocols. Shift: Sunday-Thursday 6:00PM-2:30AM. Compensation: $19.50-$20.00 per hour.

Eligible for SBM benefits. No specific education required; 3–6 months training or experience preferred. A valid driver’s license may be required. Bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs.
• Employees must drive as part of duties and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Completed all safety and task training certification.
• May be forklift certified.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self.
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
• Perform repetitive tasks.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Fill in during staff shortage.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
