Job summary

Wellstar Cobb in Austell, Georgia, is seeking a FT Weekend Night CT Technologist. You will perform CT procedures, operate radiology equipment, and maintain patient safety and comfort during night shifts on weekends.

This role is integral to a collaborative care team and offers a sign-on bonus along with comprehensive Wellstar Total Rewards. Qualified candidates will have an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R/CT certifications, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications are required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Prepare and disinfect rooms and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Verify orders, obtain clinical history, and ensure correct patient identification.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Complete documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers and prior exams.

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT-R (Radiography)

ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography

BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
