Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, plus completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT credentials required: ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality with ALARA.
• Maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules and report issues promptly.
• Verify orders and ensure two unique patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and post-care to reduce patient anxiety and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Perform exams and administer contrast using venipuncture and sterile technique as appropriate.
• Position patients, apply markers/shielding/immobilization; review images for diagnostic quality.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers and prior exams.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support crash cart/life-support equipment as needed.
• Organize daily workflows to meet timeframes; support department flow with other modalities.
