Job summary

Wellstar Cobb in Austell, Georgia is seeking a FT Weekend Night CT Technologist. Technologists are vital members of a collaborative care team, providing high-quality CT imaging with attention to patient comfort and safety during night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT certifications and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely with ALARA dosing.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient IDs.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Administer contrast as per protocol; venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies.
