Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to perform high-quality CT examinations and maintain patient safety. The role requires coordination with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and documentation in the EMR.

Candidates should have strong knowledge of CT procedures, safety protocols, and PACS, with a focus on patient education and efficient workflow. Experience with IV contrast and multi-modality imaging is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or higher in radiologic technology or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations following provider orders and departmental protocols.
• Review patient history to confirm exam appropriateness and identify contraindications.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast material and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Position patients for imaging ensuring radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure patient care continuity.
