Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations and ensure patient safety within a fast-paced imaging department. The role requires adherence to protocols, accurate documentation in EMR and PACS, and effective patient communication.

You will work closely with radiologists to deliver optimal imaging results. The position expects CT training or ARRT-CT certification, with 1+ year radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• 1+ year radiology experience with CT training preferred.
• Registered RT (ARRT) with CT certification preferred or required as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations per orders and protocols.
• Ensure radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Educate patients about the exam and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
