Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans for inpatient and outpatient settings, under Radiologist guidance. You will gather clinical data, maintain patient records, and ensure timely completion of exams and billing.

The role requires travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton to provide operational support. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited radiology program, ARRT/NMTCB certified in CT, and licensed in Massachusetts, with the ability to work

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification in diagnostic CT and MA licensure.
• Ability to work night shifts and travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans appropriate to patient age in inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Gather clinical data and maintain patient records.
• Complete records, paperwork and billing; submit promptly.
• Position and transfer patients; assist physicians with interventional exams.
• QC images and send exams to PACS for physicians review.
• Maintain inventory and assist with supplies purchase.
• Schedule urgent exams and perform other duties.
• Perform CT exams with contrast under Radiologist or ER physician guidance.
• Establish IV access for contrast injection.
• Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton for support.
