Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Marlborough, MA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans in inpatient and outpatient settings under radiologist direction, with a focus on patient safety and accurate data handling.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic program, ARRT or NMTCB certification in diagnostic CT, and MA licensure. Position involves travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as needed; signing bonus may be available during interview process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• Registered by ARRT or NMTCB in diagnostic CT.
• Massachusetts license required.
• Ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, consistent with standards and protocols.
• Gather pertinent clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Completes all records, paperwork and billings promptly.
• Positions and transfers patients and assists physicians with interventional exams.
• Sends exams to PACS for physicians to review after QC.
• Maintains inventory and assists with purchasing supplies.
• Performs CT exams using contrast media under Radiologist/ER Physician direction.
• Establishes IV access for contrast injection per policy.
• Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as scheduled to provide support.
• Float requirements apply to Nashoba Valley hires.
