Qualifications

• ARRT certification/licensure.
• IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety compliance.
• BLS certification.
• 2–3 years of undergraduate study or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Position and immobilize patient on examining table.
• Administer oral/IV contrast per protocol and document accordingly.
• Enter scan type, slice thickness, and times into the system.
• Communicate with patient; monitor safety and comfort.
• Review images on display; ensure image quality and radiograph production.
• Perform CT equipment QA and maintain logs.
• Handle clerical tasks: order reception, scheduling, and records.
• Maintain and clean work area and replenish supplies.
