Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network in the United States seeks a Registered CT Technologist to perform CT scans and assist Radiologists during invasive procedures. Schedule: Mon–Thu, 10 PM–7 AM.

Ideal candidate is ARRT certified with CT registry within 1 year, NJ license if applicable, and proficient in RIS/HIS, PACS, and 3-D imaging, with strong patient education and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or ARRT registered.
• Advanced CT registry required within one year of hire.
• NJ candidate: ARRT recognized School of Radiologic Technology; A.A.S. preferred; 1 year experience required; 2+ preferred.
• Current state license (NJDEP) and ARRT registry required.
• Recent CT Scan experience preferred; BLS certification within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Directly assists Radiologist during invasive procedures and performs CT scans as directed.
• Communicates clinical observations during CT exams to Radiologist with patient history.
• Demonstrates competency with RIS/HIS modules and PACS workflows.
• Injects contrast per policy and reviews patient questionnaire prior to exam.
• Performs 3-D imaging and educates patients about their examination.
• Maintains ongoing professional development through in-services and continuing education.
