Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Part-Time overnight CT Scan Technologist to perform CT examinations and assist Radiologists during invasive procedures, Monday through Thursday 11p-7a.

Candidates should have an ARRT-recognized CT program or ARRT registration and at least two years of CT experience; familiarity with RIS/HIS and PACS is preferred. St. Luke’s emphasizes high-quality patient care and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• ARRT-recognized training or ARRT registration is required.
• Two years of CT technologist experience preferred.
• Overnight/Part-Time availability for Mon-Thu shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiologist during invasive procedures and perform CT exams as directed.
• Communicate clinical observations to Radiologist during CT exams.
• Present patient history from documentation to Radiologist.
• Inject contrast for CT scans according to policy.
• Complete patient CT questionnaire prior to start of exam.
• Perform 3-D imaging functions as needed.
• Provide patient education about the examination.
• Maintain professional development through inservices/CE.
• Adhere to downtime procedures for data availability.
• Verify patient and medical record accuracy before PACS.
• Contribute to department’s Press Ganey quality score.
• Ensure every patient receives education.
