Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or ARRT registered.
• Advanced CT registry required within one year of hire.
• Current state license (NJDEP) and ARRT registry required.
• 1 year of CT experience required; 2+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists Radiologist during invasive procedures and performs CT scans as directed.
• Communicates clinical observations to Radiologist during CT exams.
• Injects contrast per department policy and reviews patient questionnaire.
• Performs 3-D imaging functions and ensures high-quality images for PACS.
• Provides patient education about the examination and procedure.
• Adheres to downtime procedures for continuity of care.
• Ensures correct patient on worklist and accurate Medical Record data.
• Supports department in achieving hospital Press Ganey score targets.

Education

ARRT recognized education program or ARRT registration

A.A.S. Degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
