Job summary

Foundation 2 Crisis Services is seeking a Crisis Counselor to meet with clients at the Linn County Mental Health Access Center in Cedar Rapids. You will provide support, conduct assessments, coordinate services, and document records while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

This role offers an evening schedule from 11 PM to 7 AM, up to 16 hours per week, with an hourly pay of $18–$20 and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, wellness reimbursements, parental leave,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human service and one or more year’s relevant experience.
• Experience with assessments and documentation in access centers preferred.
• Comfort with basic computer software and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients at the Linn County Mental Health Access Center to provide support and crisis counseling.
• Complete required assessments with clients.
• Provide service coordination and referrals for services at the Access Center.
• Complete necessary documentation to ensure proper record keeping.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team at the Access Center.
