Job summary

Prairie Ridge in Mason City, IA seeks a compassionate Community Crisis Response Specialist to provide 24/7 crisis support, help stabilize individuals, and connect them to behavioral health services. Full-time and part-time overnight shifts 8:00 p.m.–8:00 a.m.

are available, with opportunities to support the Downtown Drop-In Center as needed. You will work with local law enforcement and community partners to bridge to care, maintain confidentiality, and document activities in accordance with CARF

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Two years relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required.
• Regularly sit, use hands, talk or hear; frequent walking, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Treat individuals with dignity and respect while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Adhere to confidentiality requirements and CARF policies.
• Provide crisis support to engage in stable program engagement.
• Assist individuals in connecting to programs for rehabilitation skills.
• Facilitate use of local services to maintain stability.
• Maintain documentation consistent with agency policies and procedures.
