Job summary

Mr. Greens is seeking highly motivated selectors to pick full-case groceries, frozen, and perishable items in a warehouse setting. You will operate pallet jacks or forklifts, wrap bundles, and move pallets to the shipping dock or trailers for delivery.

Safety is a top priority, and you will work in multi-temperature environments. Ideal candidates are punctual, able to lift 50+ lbs, and comfortable with repetitive physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have experience operating a forklift/pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Select full-case grocery, frozen, and perishable products from warehouse slots.
• Use pallet jack or forklift to move items onto pallets and wrap them for shipping.
• Transport pallets to shipping dock and load onto trailers when required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and food-safe work area; report damaged equipment.
• Follow pick sheets and verify quantities to ensure accurate orders.

Night Warehouse SelectorOverview:Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Florida, Georgia and Texas. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.Summary:Mr. Greens is looking for highly motivated and dedicated Selectors that can work individually selecting full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment. You will then fit the items on a pallet plastic wrap the bundles, transport pallets to shipping dock and in some cases, load them onto a trailer to delivery to customers. All employees are expected to make safety their top priority.Accountabilities:Perform general physical activities load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipmentPerform tasks in multi-temperature environmentsSelect merchandise for shipment and stack on pallet neatly by using a pallet jack or forkliftUse a pick sheet to find out individual items inside warehouseBreakdown and restack merchandise from palletsVerify quantity of the productsEnsure items pick accurately and safely to prevent damageKeep warehouse tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken palletsMaintaining a food-safe environmentReport any damaged equipment to shift supervisor or maintenance staffOther duties as assigned.Requirements:Required to be punctual.Forklift/pallet jack 2 yearMust Pass A Drug TestAvailable to work on weekendsPhysical Demands/ Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
