Mr. Greens in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Day Crew Selector to pick full-case grocery, frozen, and perishable items in our warehouse, using pallet jacks and forklifts, then palletize and prepare for shipping.

The ideal candidate is punctual, able to work weekends, and comfortable in multi-temperature environments; must pass a drug test and lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Punctual and reliable attendance is required.
• Experience operating forklift or pallet jack is preferred (1 year).
• Must pass a drug test as part of the hiring process.
• Able to work on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort, and move products by hand or with basic equipment.
• Work in multi-temperature environments as needed.
• Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallets with a pallet jack or forklift.
• Verify quantities and ensure accurate, safe picking for shipment.
• Keep the warehouse tidy and maintain food-safe conditions.
• Report damaged equipment to supervisor or maintenance staff.

Mr. Greens is seeking for a Day Crew Selector in SanAntonio Texas.

Overview

Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Texas. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week, and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores, and retail outlets.

Summary

Mr. Greens is looking for highly motivated and dedicated Selectors that can work individually selecting full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment. You will then fit the items on a pallet plastic wrap the bundles, transport pallets to a shipping dock and in some cases, load them onto a truck for delivery to customers. All employees are expected to make safety their top priority.

Accountabilities

• Perform general physical activities load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
• Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments
• Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallet neatly by using a pallet jack or forklift
• Use a pick sheet to find out individual items inside the warehouse
• Breakdown and restack merchandise from pallets
• Verify the quantity of the products
• Ensure items pick accurately and safely to prevent damage
• Keep warehouse tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken pallets
• Maintaining a food-safe environment
• Report any damaged equipment to shift supervisor or maintenance staff
• Other duties as assigned.
