Qualifications

• Read and write to properly tag merchandise and maintain inventory levels.
• Unload, transport, and place merchandise in designated areas.
• Lift up to seventy pounds at least forty percent of the time.
• Retrieve and place merchandise on top racks as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions per department procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading the merchandise.
• Transport stock for storage to stock areas.
• Open cartons and price items accurately.
• Keep store shelves stocked according to tag allocations.
• Rotate perishable items and remove out-of-code products.
• Control level of damaged goods.
• Present assigned section neatly at end of shift.
• Greet customers and be observant.
• Maintain dress code and appearance.
• Abide by company policies in Handbook.
• Maintain price protection and housekeeping of sales areas.
• Assist with front-end service when needed.
