CASES is a New York City agency advancing behavioral health within the criminal justice system. The Night Court Representative role supports court admissions, Performs screenings, and maintains supervision records.

You will engage with judges and partners, ensure accurate documentation, and uphold CASES’ commitment to equity and safety while working a 5pm–1am schedule in a full-time capacity. This position emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and compassionate service in a high-stakes

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to work effectively in high-paced, high-stakes environments.
• Strong communication and independent working capabilities.
• Preference for bilingual candidates.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with judges, prosecutors, defense counsel and court partners.
• Assess legal eligibility for Supervised Release and ensure appropriate supervision levels.
• Conduct screenings and interviews, administer tools, and formulate recommendations.
• Explain conditions of pretrial supervision and monitor participant participation.
• Meet monthly intake targets and maintain pretrial standards.
• Accompany participants to court and advocate to judges for supervision.
• Manage crises to ensure participant safety and well-being.
• Document accurately in the case record database with demographics and outcomes.
• Collaborate with staff to provide accurate information to the court.
• Notify court about non-compliance or changes in participant status.
• Provide culturally competent, anti-racist services aligned with CASES policies.
• Participate in supervision, case reviews, trainings, and weekly meetings.
