Job summary

Pharmavite in New Albany, OH is seeking a Controls & Automation Technician to maintain, improve, and support the automation and control systems that operate industrial manufacturing equipment. You will design, install, program PLCs and HMIs, diagnose failures, reduce downtime, and lead automation projects while coordinating with outside vendors and maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years industrial maintenance in control systems.
• Experience with PLCs/PLCs and HMIs; knowledge of Allen-Bradley or Siemens.
• Strong electrical and mechanical understanding; able to troubleshoot 480VAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and control loops.
• Provide first-line technical support for automation-related issues.
• Lead automation projects and coordinate with vendors and maintenance staff.
• Perform preventative maintenance on automation systems.
