Job summary

NIC Global is seeking a night‑shift CNC laser operator in Gallatin, TN to run the laser line and related equipment. This position includes programming at the console, measuring cut parts, and maintaining the machine to ensure quality output.

You will collaborate with teammates to hit production targets while complying with safety standards and OSHA rules; the shift offers a $2.00 per hour premium and a 4:40 pm to 3:10 am schedule (Mon–Thu).

Qualifications

• Six months or more of related experience or training.
• Ability to program, download and edit at computer console as required.
• Ability to verify measurements of cut materials using measurement tools.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Good communication, organizational and cross-training skills.
• Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass.

Responsibilities

• Operates the CNC laser cutting machine and related production machinery.
• Programs, downloads and edits console as required; verifies measurements of cut materials.
• Performs regular maintenance and housekeeping on the machine.
• Collaborates with team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Adapts to fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Follows safety and quality standards and OSHA rules.
