The role requires an associate degree in a related field, 2+ years CNC programming experience, and proficiency with CAD software and MS Office. It offers an hourly, non-exempt schedule with pay between $24.00 and $34.00 per hour, plus benefits. Excellent safety practice and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience programming and operating Laser or CNC machinery.
• Experience reading technical drawings and translating drawings to workable programs for CNC operation.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Laser CNC programs.
• Optimize manufacturing processes through automation.
• Operate and troubleshoot Laser equipment.
• Support production by improving efficiency, quality and consistency.
• Maintain production records and setup / inspection documentation.
• Adhere to safety and quality management requirements.
