Corewell Health’s Progressive Care Unit 2NE at Grosse Pointe Hosp seeks a part-time Nurse Assistant for night shifts (7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.), 24 hours a week. You will deliver patient care under an RN, assist with transfers and observations, and help with unit operations.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.
• Able to move or lift patients and equipment.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
• Some computer knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care according to the plan of care and hospital policy under RN supervision.
• Safely transport patients by wheelchair or stretcher and document services.
• Act as Observer for patients needing constant observation to ensure safety.
• Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to support unit operations; document care in EMR.
