Duke Raleigh Campus, a part of Duke University Health System, is hiring a Nursing Care Assistant (CNA) for the Neuro/Spine unit on night shifts. The CNA partners with RN/LPN, providing direct patient care, documentation, and basic procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role supports care coordination and unit operations in a fast-paced hospital setting. Qualifications include a Level I Nurse Aide program and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Completion of NC Nurse Aide I program or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of patient care, safety and basic clinical procedures.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for procedures and provide manual assistance.
• Obtain and record patient data for medical records.
• Administer basic care including feeding, bathing, dressing, hygiene, ambulation assistance.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transportation of patients.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor patient condition.
• Document and communicate pertinent information in EMR.
• Assist with wound care and dressing changes as needed.
• Perform clerical tasks related to patient care data and orders.
