Job summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Froedtert Health provides delegated, age-appropriate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse on our on-site Milwaukee facility. You will assist with basic nursing tasks, personal care, and restorative services, following established competency guidelines and safety protocols.

This role requires Wisconsin CNA certification (or active nursing program enrollment with documented coursework) and BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification required, or must be in a nursing program with documentation of basic nursing coursework.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide delegated age-appropriate care under RN supervision.
• Assist patients with basic nursing, personal care, and restorative tasks.
• Contribute to a safe care environment and continuous safety observation.
• Follow unit protocols and report changes to the RN on duty.
