Job summary

Froedtert Holy Family Memorial is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide age-appropriate patient care under RN supervision at our Manitowoc facility. You will support basic nursing tasks, personal care, and safety observations on shift 3 as part of a 0.9 FTE schedule.

The role requires Wisconsin CNA certification with BLS within 90 days of hire; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and an inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification is required, otherwise must be currently enrolled in a nursing program and able to provide documentation from an accredited school for professional nurses indicating successful completion of the basic nursing course which encompass all of the criteria noted by the State of Wisconsin administrative code.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide delegated age appropriate care under supervision.
• Assist patients with tasks outlined in their clinical competency assessment related to basic nursing skills, personal care, and basic restorative services.
• Practice and perform what was taught during CNA training and certification or learned during basic nursing courses.
• Provide continuous safety observation when required.
