Job summary

Froedtert West Bend Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide delegated, age-appropriate care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The CNA supports basic nursing tasks, patient comfort, and safety during 12-hour shifts on-site at Froedtert West Bend Hospital.

Required is the Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification, or active enrollment in a nursing program with documentation. AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider is required within 90 days of hire.
• Enrollment in a nursing program acceptable with documentation from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Provide delegated age-appropriate care under RN supervision.
• Assist patients with basic nursing tasks and personal care.
• Perform duties as taught in CNA training and certification.
• Possibly provide continuous safety observation as needed.
