Job summary

Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant for the 6:30 PM–7:00 AM night shift on the Surgical Oncology unit. You will aid post-operative and general surgery patients, document care, and support daily unit operations with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification in state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1 year medical clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic hygiene.
• Document patient data and care in medical records.
• Report changes in patient condition to licensed staff.
• Assist with procedures and use of required equipment under supervision.
• Maintain unit organization, supplies, and charting forms.
• Support patient transport and unit turnover as needed.
• Interact with staff, patients, families and physicians professionally.
