Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide to provide routine daily care to assigned patients, ensuring safety and well-being in accordance with MUSC Health standards.

Reports to unit nurse. Requires graduation from a state-approved CNA program and active SC nurse aide registry license. CPR certification is required or obtained during orientation; geriatric experience preferred. This is an hourly, full-time role with 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Must be registered/licensed in applicable State.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.
• One year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients.
• Assist with baths, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Accurately document and chart patient care.
• Respond promptly to call lights.
• Collaborate with care team and participate in safety procedures.
