Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide to provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients, ensuring safety and wellbeing in line with MUSC Health standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, feeding, mobility, documentation, and teamwork with health professionals. Requires CNA program completion, state licensure, CPR, and prior geriatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification must be current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Must demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Must be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs floor to waist, 35 lbs waist to shoulder, 35 lbs total.
• Must perform duties such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting as needed.

Education

Graduate of a State-approved CNA program

Active state license in good standing

CPR certification upon hire
