Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health) is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide to provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients, ensuring safety and promoting the highest practicable well-being in accordance with laws and MUSC Health standards.

The role requires graduation from a State-approved CNA program, active licensure in the state, and CPR certification. The CNA will report to the unit nurse and may work beyond standard hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Current registration/licensure in applicable State and active license.
• CPR certification required (upon hire or during orientation).

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients to ensure safety and well-being.
• Assist patients with baths, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Accurately document and chart patient care.
• Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs.
• Assist in patient evacuation and support care team.
