The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team in Quincy, IL. The successful candidate will provide personal hygiene assistance, mobility support, and daily living activities for residents, ensuring safety and dignity at all times.
This role offers full-time night shifts with competitive base pay of $17.22/hr plus shift differentials, and a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401K, and paid time off.
The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong background in healthcare. The day-to-day duties of this role include planning and preparing meals, helping clients with mobility around or outside of the house, and providing personal hygiene assistance.
Full-Time: 6:30PM-7:00AM
Full-Time: 10:30PM-7:00AM
Part-Time: 10:30PM-7:00AM every other Saturday and Sunday only
Base pay: $17.22 (plus applicable shift differentials)
Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
Assist clients with ambulation
Help with mobility
Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation every single day
Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
Available to work weekends and holidays
Supportive and compassionate
Must be certified in the state of IL as a CNA
Take pride in providing high quality care
