The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our compassionate team in Quincy, IL. We offer Full-Time and Part-Time shifts with weekend requirements and a pay range of $17.22–$19.22 per hour.

The CNA will assist residents with personal care, mobility, meal support, and daily activities to promote dignity and well-being. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, tuition and student loan reimbursement, signing/ referral bonuses, and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in IL as a CNA.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and daily living support for elderly or recovering patients.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility tasks as needed.
• Support basic care including showering, dressing, feeding, and meal assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping and report incidents or emergencies promptly.

Job description

The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong background in healthcare. The day-to-day duties of this role include planning and preparing meals, helping clients with mobility around or outside of the house, and providing personal hygiene assistance.

Full-Time : 6:00AM - 2:30PM, every other weekend required

Part-Time: 6:00AM - 2:30PM, 3 days a week, every other weekend required

RATE OF PAY: $17.22 - $19.22

Responsibilities

Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating. Assist clients with ambulation. Help with mobility.

• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Perform housekeeping duties

Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency. Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary.

Qualifications

Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties. Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation every single day. Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner. Available to work weekends and holidays. Supportive and compassionate. Must be certified in the state of IL as a CNA. Take pride in providing high quality care. Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client).
