Job summary

Corewell Health in Troy, MI is seeking Nursing Resource Pool staff to provide patient care across units under RN supervision. The role supports short-staffed areas and involves caring for diverse patient populations, documentation in EMR, and coordinating daily tasks within a high-demand hospital setting.

The position is part-time with a night shift (7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.), orientation week, and opportunities to participate in safety initiatives and unit priorities, while maintaining a strong focus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of nursing assistant program and/or one year of nursing assistant experience.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required
• Current CNA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care assignments as delegated by a registered nurse.
• Clerical tasks, manage supplies and equipment in designated care areas.
• Provide care to patients according to the plan of care and unit routine.
• Document in electronic medical record (EMR).
• Act as receptionist and organize daily work assignments based on unit priorities.
