Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Weyauwega, Wisconsin is seeking a Cheddar Operator (Nights) to safely package and seal cheddar cheese into 640-pound boxes. The role follows a 2-2-3 schedule, starting at $24.73 per hour with two pay increases within a year and comprehensive benefits.

Your key duties include setting up daily production, operating vacuum chambers, sealing boxes, preparing box cards, and assisting teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience necessary; in-house training provided.
• Lift Truck License required.
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with GMP and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up area for daily production.
• Make boxes, fill, and drain according to specifications.
• Prepare boxes and place into vacuum chamber; operate chambers.
• Seal boxes and prepare box cards for sealed boxes.
• Assist Cheddar employees as needed and maintain area cleanliness.
• Follow GMP and safety policies; report hazards.
