Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast in Langhorne, PA is seeking a registered nurse (BSN preferred) to lead and support patient care on the designated unit during the Night shift. You will collaborate with interprofessional teams, coordinate care, and ensure adherence to standards and patient safety across all phases of care.

Responsibilities include ensuring staffing coverage, contributing to throughput, mentoring colleagues on the Clinical Ladder, and supporting Magnet and Shared Governance initiatives

Qualifications

• BSN or higher degree within 3 years of hire.
• 3 years RN in acute care; prior ER RN experience required.
• Knowledge of effective communication concepts and tools.
• Understanding of patient-centered, culturally aware care.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients and families to provide safe, compassionate care.
• Serves as a clinical resource on policies, procedures and risk issues.
• Collaborates with medical staff to align care plans and throughput.
• Manages staff schedules and supports payroll coordination.
• Supports Magnet and Shared Governance through mentorship.
