Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time night-shift position in Langhorne, PA. The nurse will lead daily unit operations, mentor colleagues, and support patient care standards and flow across the continuum of care.

The role emphasizes patient-and family-centered practice, interprofessional collaboration, and participation in Magnet and Shared Governance activities. PA license and BSN are required.

Qualifikationen

• Specialized Diploma required from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 3 years as an RN in an acute care setting; ER experience preferred.
• Strong communication and family-centered care.
• Knowledge of patient safety and discharge planning.
• Evidence-based practice and clinical ladder involvement.
• PA RN license and BLS/AHA or Red Cross certification.
• Shift hours: Full Time/Nights - 36 hours weekly.

Aufgaben

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff with values of Jefferson, respecting patient preferences and cultural beliefs.
• Communicates with interprofessional teams, serves as a clinical resource on policies, standards, and risk management.
• Collaborates with medical staff to ensure consistent plans of care and throughput across phases of care.
• Provides schedules and on-call planning; resolves staff and physician issues effectively.
• Monitors staffing and payroll; reflects variances in Smart Square and adjusts as needed.
• Works with the Nurse Manager to evaluate and improve nursing performance and practice quality.
• Supports Magnet and Shared Governance through participation in councils and the Clinical Ladder program.
