Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for part-time night shifts in Langhorne, PA. You will provide patient-centered care, develop and implement nursing plans, and collaborate with inter-professional teams to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

You will educate patients and families, document care accurately, and participate in ongoing professional development and precepting of staff. A PA RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma in nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice.
• Cultural awareness and respectful communication.
• Ability to convey information clearly to patients, families and staff.
• Basic life support certification (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients and families, ensuring respectful, culturally sensitive care.
• Identifies learning needs and provides education to patients and families.
• Uses data and IT to monitor care outcomes and support quality initiatives.
• Works within nursing and inter-professional teams to ensure safe, coordinated care.
• Participates in safety and quality improvement activities and committees.
• Precepts appropriate staff and supports professional growth.
