Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group company, is seeking a Driver, Shuttle in Raleigh to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. The role requires operating various trailer types and adhering to DOT regulations.

Starting pay is $24/hour with a 4-day work week and a start time of 8:00 PM. This position features a no touch freight environment and opportunities for growth within a growing nationwide distributor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment moving freight 60–90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Transport empty trailers to Operating Company warehouse locations and turn around to deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations.
• Drive tandem trailer, tractor trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate/interstate routes according to DOT regulations.
• Communicate with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally and timely.
• Perform safety checks and inspections per DOT and company guidelines.
