Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and return full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will operate tandem tractors and straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring safe, timely deliveries in line with DOT rules.

The role requires a valid CDL-A with Doubles, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass drug and road tests. This union-represented position starts at 5 PM with a Sunday-Thursday schedule and pays $29 per

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years or older and meet licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card valid or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and necessary repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain required route paperwork and dispatch readiness.
• Drive and deliver trailers along predetermined routes.
• Perform hook/unhook procedures and secure loads.
• Secure equipment and freight, unload as needed.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs.
