Job summary

Performance Foodservice in the United States is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to support our food distribution network. You will operate tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and unloading food products to customers, while upholding DOT regulations and safety standards.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00am–6:00am. Competitive pay between $62,000 and $85,000 per year plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• CDL-A license required.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Clean MVR in the past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Must pass road test and have a current DOT Health Card or be able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally and promptly.
• Performs safety checks and DOT inspections as required.
• Drives and delivers orders according to the predefined route schedule.
• Unloads products and stores them in designated customer locations.
• Completes necessary paperwork and obtains signatures on delivery.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and logs hours as required.
