Performance Foodgroup, a broadline distributor, is hiring CDL-A drivers to join the night dispatch team delivering food products to diverse customers across the region. You will drive tractor trailers or straight trucks, perform safety inspections, and ensure on-time deliveries with professional customer interaction.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with DOT rules, and accurate paperwork while supporting America's food distribution system.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• Must meet DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Deliver and unload food products to customers on a timely basis.
• Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures on invoices.
• Complete required paperwork and logs accurately.
• Ensure equipment and trailers are secured and maintained.
