Job summary

Cygnet at Beckly House in Shelf, Halifax, is seeking a confident Night Support Worker to join our dedicated team on nights only. You will work full-time, a 42-hour week on a two-week rolling rota, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a safe, respectful environment.

We offer an apprenticeship option, ongoing coaching, wellbeing resources, and employee discounts. The role provides meaningful development within a national specialist care group.

Qualifications

• Experience in care and support roles is desirable.
• Willingness to work night shifts and long hours.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo.
• Ability to work with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ needs and respond in a person-centred way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report appropriately.
• Safeguard customers and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Support service users to access community activities and opportunities.
• Encourage independence through tasks like cooking and light cleaning.
