Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago is seeking a Bell Attendant to be the face of arrival and the warmth of farewell for guests. You will escort guests, help with luggage, and offer recommendations to elevate their luxury stay.

Under supervision, you will assist with guest arrivals, departures, and provide informed guidance about local attractions, dining, and events, while maintaining professional hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• General customer service skills and fluency in English.
• Knowledge of local establishments and surrounding community.
• Must be able to drive automatic and manual vehicles and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests in all forms of transportation arriving at the hotel.
• Assist guests with retrieving their luggage from vehicles.
• Escort guests and luggage into the lobby for registration with the Doorman.
• Explain valet parking procedures and fees.
• Provide directions to the registration area for check-in.
• Assist with luggage unloading and delivery to rooms as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy to guests, associates, and vendors.
• Proactively offer assistance and answer questions throughout the hotel.
