Job summary

Hickory House Recovery is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for the 11pm–7am shift to support the treatment team and implement the person-centered care plan in a residential setting.

The role requires adherence to HIPAA, strong communication, dependable attendance, and the ability to work with clients under supervision. A valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to learn quickly, multi-task and communicate effectively.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients.
• Follow directives and facility policies with reliability.
• Scheduling flexibility including holidays and weekends.
• Dependability and punctuality essential.
• Must have valid drivers license and own insured transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains HIPAA compliance in all client communications.
• Daily engagement with clients to support treatment plan implementation.
• Facilitation of educational recovery/relapse groups.
• Work closely with clients in residential treatment.
• Dispense medications per physician guidance and EMR schedule.
• Document all engagements clearly in the EMR.
• Ensure attendance in sessions and approved external meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Uphold cultural sensitivity and professional boundaries.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as directed.
• Assist with maintaining facility cleanliness and order.
• Inspect property and report needed repairs.
• Follow Behavioral Health Procedural Manual procedures.
