Job summary

The Farley Center is seeking Behavioral Health Techs to join our team in Williamsburg, Virginia. The on-site, full-time position offers base pay of $18–$20 per hour with shift differentials, plus $3,000/year tuition assistance and a robust benefits package including medical, dental, and vision after 30 days.

Responsibilities include monitoring clients, de-escalation, safety checks, and assisting with activities and group sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months or more experience working with the specific population preferred.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client safety and maintain a structured, supportive environment.
• Conduct safety checks and monitor clients per guidelines.
• Interact with clients, document observations, and report changes to supervisors.
• Assist in group activities and therapeutic recreation.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and incident reporting.
