Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a bakery team member at our Frazer location. You will start by reviewing the shift schedule, ensuring PPE, then assembling and baking goods, labeling and displaying fresh products, and keeping display cases clean and stocked.

Applicants should be authorized to work in the U.S., possess a valid ID, and be able to read and write. A 60‑day probation period applies, with lifting up to 50 lbs and long periods of standing.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in order to complete job duties and comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job, including regular attendance.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE, and prepare for duties.
• Assemble and mix ingredients, place mix on trays, bake goods.
• Package and wrap baked goods, print labels, label baked goods, clean display cases, and stock fresh goods.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, display cases, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
