Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a team member for a retail store position in Pennsylvania. You will start shifts by reviewing the schedule, preparing equipment, and ensuring PPE compliance, then handle bakery tasks such as assembling ingredients, baking, labeling, and keeping display cases fresh and organized.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner and to comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and verify equipment and supplies.
• Assemble and mix ingredients, place on trays, bake goods, and manage oven workflow.
• Package and wrap baked goods, print labels, label products, and maintain display cases.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, display cases, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
