Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring at our Philadelphia store to support bakery operations. You will prepare the shift, assemble ingredients, place trays in the oven, bake goods, and ensure fresh products are wrapped, labeled, and displayed properly. We value reliability and the ability to read and communicate clearly to follow safety policies.

Eligible to work in the U.S. and willing to complete a 60‑day probation are required; physical stamina and teamwork are important for success.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate to complete job duties and follow safety policies.
• Must complete the company introductory period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for this position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job, including regular attendance.
• Must wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at shift start and prepare equipment and supplies.
• Assemble and mix ingredients, place trays in oven, bake goods.
• Package, wrap baked goods and label displays.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, display cases, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
