The ideal candidate has prior night audit experience or strong accounting skills, with excellent customer service, communication, and the ability to work independently, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audits of all hotel's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in reports, postings, and reconciliations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for guest needs and inquiries overnight, from resolving issues to handling special requests.
• Coordinate guest routing, review and finalize room assignments, and ensure systems are properly organized before morning shift arrives.
• Collaborate with Front Desk morning shift to address outstanding items from the night audit and communicate any pertinent information to ensure exceptional guest service.
• Check guests in and out, answer phones, and assist with various guest needs throughout the night.
• Ensure that all charges for rooms, food, beverage, phones and miscellaneous are posted correctly.
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel service, facilities, hours of operation, restaurants, transportation and entertainment.
• Protect confidential guest and proprietary information in accordance with company policies.
• Handle guest challenges in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
