Job summary

Element Tukwila Hotel in Tukwila, WA is seeking a part-time Night Auditor to balance and report on hotel operations and ensure adherence to policies, delivering Level5 hospitality and service for every guest.

The role includes closing PMS and POS, generating audit reports, handling check-ins/outs, managing reservations, and addressing guest needs during the overnight shift, with required Friday and Saturday night availability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or hotel-related experience preferred.
• Basic accounting and bookkeeping experience.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible with shifts and scheduling; available Fridays and Saturdays nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
• Complete the Night Audit checklist each shift
• Close PMS and POS systems daily, generate/audit reports, reset systems for next day
• Inform Front Office Manager or Manager on Duty of issues needing immediate attention
• Operate the front desk according to SOPs with exceptional guest service
• Fulfill all Front Office functions during the overnight shift
• Know emergency procedures and respond after training by Chief of Maintenance
• Complete daily reports and audit correspondence as required
• Receive and confirm credit cards for validity and acceptability
• Welcome guests on arrival and assign rooms
• Take calls, online and in-person bookings, and answer questions on rates, availability, amenities, and requests
• Manage online and phone reservations
• Respond to guest complaints promptly and professionally
• Create incident reports for guest injuries/issues when required
• Maintain professional appearance and dress code compliance
• Perform other duties as required by Manager/Supervisor
